The primary results were obtained by evaluation of army ballistic limit,and observation of impact craters,the number and location of adiabatic shear bands and cracks.

Experimental results have revealed that lightweight aggregate(LWA)concrete represents platform flow plasticity under high compressive stress and its ultimate strength surface intersects with the hydrostatic stress axis at two different points,which is completely different from the normal concrete as the ultimate strength surface is open-ended.

The main contents of the research are:(1)initial yield surface in the stress space,(2)surface of ultimate stness in the stress sauce,(3)reaction between the initial yield surface and the surface of ultimate stress in the stress space.

The result of the experiment indicated that the strength limit and elastic modulus of the material can increase after annealing treatment within the temperature range, but at the same time, the material became crisp and its plasticity declined remarkably.

Using thermal strength experiment to test and determine the pivotal parameters such as ultimate strength and thermal stress at the complicated condition of transient heating is very important for reliability estimation,life prediction of aerospace materials and security design of high-speed flight vehicle.
