Fox Business Network host Trish Regan invited her CGTN counterpart Liu Xin late Thursday to have a second discussion on China-U.S. trade.

"Hi Xin, are you up for Round 2? If so, I look forward to it—and to continue hearing all sides on #ChinaTrade," said Regan on Twitter.

The Fox host stressed that it should be a discussion rather than a fight, as she and Liu Xin are both "proponents of thoughtful, respectful discussion."

"….Not everything on TV has to be a 'fight'... when it comes to international issues, dialogue & discussion are a VERY important part of finding a path forward," said Regan.

The invitation comes a week after their live discussion on the topic on Regan's show, when the popular hosts discussed issues such as the trade talks, intellectual property, tariffs, and China's economic system. It was the first time television hosts from China and the United States have had a live one-on-one discussion.
