Whether it's music, art, stage, screen, restaurant and bar deals, or the great outdoors – there's always something interesting going on in Hong Kong

Aussie Grill by Outback

What A sub-brand of the Australian-inspired, US-founded Outback Steakhouse, the hotly anticipated Aussie Grill by Outback launched to great fanfare in Kwai Fong in January. Diverging from the sit-down-and-take-your-time approach of the original, Aussie Grill adopts a fast-casual style, backed by the belief that urbanites deserve premium food even if they're in a hurry. In terms of decor, the restaurant is very much of the moment; it's apricot-themed and designed with a simple succinctness that exudes a sense of youth. While efficiency is the focus – all meals are delivered within five minutes – Aussie Grill delivers exceptional-quality food. It serves up a wide variety of dishes, from the distinctive Bacon Bomb burger and the tangy Aussie ribs to the succulent steak. All in all, you can experience the bold and innovative recipes of Outback at a much friendlier price.

Embraced by the likes of guitar gods Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder and Buddy Guy, Mayer is a standout guitarist among his peers and rose to fame in the 2000s. Getting his start playing acoustic guitar in Atlanta coffee shops, he grew into superstardom in the blues and rock genres – and not without his share of controversy, which led him to disappear from the public eye for years. Expect to hear his massive hits, including Your Body is a Wonderland, Gravity and Waiting on the World to Change, as well as tracks from his latest album, 2017's The Search for Everything.
