2019-02-14
Chris Rodriguez, a 29-year-old from Ohio in the United States has battled alcohol addiction for most of his twenties. In January last year, he was drunk when he tried to light a stick of dynamite he was holding in his left hand. It exploded, shredding his hand, leaving doctors with no choice but to amputate what was left. After a three-month-long episode of depression, he made the decision to sober up and make a new life for himself. He has since focused his energies on his gift for creating art, which he says has given his life new meaning. Sales of his works have boomed since he recovered from the accident. [Photo: IC]"
