The Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held a meeting on Dec 13 to study the economic work for 2019.
The economic work next year will focus on seven areas:
1 The three battles against potential financial risk, poverty and pollution will continue to be prioritized and more efforts will go toward major tasks according to established action plan.

2 Promote high-quality development in the manufacturing sector and enable deeper integration between advanced manufacturing and the modern service sectors.

3 Promote the shaping of a strong domestic market and improve the level of integrity of the national economy.

4 Take solid steps to push forward the rural vitalization strategy and consolidate and build upon the upbeat situation in agriculture, rural areas and farmers.

5 Advance regional coordinated development and give full play to the comparative advantages of each region.

6 Speed up economic reforms and all-around opening up.
