Guizhou province in southwestern China is full of high mountains. In winter, the mountainous areas are turned white, not only by snowfall but also rime.

Among these mountains, Fanjing Mountain in Tongren city is probably the best place for such breathtaking views.

Fanjing Mountain literally means “pure mountain”, and Buddhists hope visitors who see the beautiful scene on the mountain are so moved by what they witness their souls are purified.

The mountain was added to UNESCO's world natural heritage list in July because of its diverse plants, forests, endangered wildlife and unique landscapes.
