According to Forbes, "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara is the highest paid TV actress.

Vergara earned $42.5million pre-tax - and topped the list for the seventh year in a row.

The actress plays Gloria in "Modern Family" which has been running since 2009.

Kaley Cuoco of "The Big Bang Theory" fame was second with an income of $24.5 million, with Ellen Pompeo from "Grey's Anatomy" third on the list earning $23.5 million.

Collectively the world's top 10 highest paid actresses earned $168.5 million between June 1, 2017 and June 1, 2018.
