The mood in Hong Kong is celebratory - with a sea of red national and HKSAR flags, lanterns, and festive banners decorating streets, parks, shopping malls and residential buildings - as the special administrative region prepares to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its return to the motherland in two days' time.
