Beijing Winter Olympics will play out 19 days starting from Feb 2 with nearly 3,000 athletes competing in 109 medal events across 15 disciplines in seven winter sports.

So far, Chinese athletes have qualified in 96 of the 109 events. China's winter sports athletes target a gold rush at the long-awaited home Olympics. Let's have a preview of some of the key events.
