Old industrial sites have been transformed into new exhibition centers, art spaces and office buildings in Tiexi district, Shenyang city in Northeast China's Liaoning province, demonstrating an integration of historical sites and modern culture.

The local government renovated the old factories while maintaining their original architectural features, and upgrading the public facilities to meet tourists' needs.

The Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park is set to open to public by June this year.
