Since 2012, photographer Wu Hongli, a former visual designer, has taken over 70,000 photos of cats on the streets in over 20 cities across China.

Now he has over 3 million followers on his Sina Weibo account, a popular Chinese social media platform.

In his photographs, Wu shows not only cats but also the different cultures of each city, such as architecture, people and local lifestyles.
