The Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce released a list and report on the top 100 Beijing-based domestic private enterprises at the sub-center of Beijing on Nov 15.
Per the report, the top 100 enterprises had a total income of 2.63 trillion yuan ($374.96 billion) in 2019, up more than 20 percent from a year earlier. Their gross wealth reached 3.75 trillion yuan, up 30.66 percent year-on-year. Tax payments also increased by 60.18 percent to 105 billion yuan.
It is noteworthy that the total R&D investment from the top 100 reached 59.3 billion yuan, up 84.89 percent. Their total number of patents reached 22,359, rising by 87.47 percent.
