Jin heard a cry for help, and rushed to the assistance of the tourist, who collapsed unconscious and without a pulse. Joined by another Chinese tourist, they spent almost 40 minutes performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation until an ambulance arrived.

"I was covered in sweat, a lot of warm-hearted people helped in the rescue; some were holding an umbrella for us, others called the ambulance," said Jin during an interview. "Life is precious. She definitely has a family, and I think the rescue not only saved her, but saved a whole family."

The report advises that people avoid strenuous outdoor activities on days when the temperature exceeds 35 degree Celsius. It also reminds people to stay hydrated.
