Editor's Note: People in many places have observed a partial lunar eclipse, believed to be the last in 2019, from July 16 to 17.

Lunar eclipses come in three forms: partial, total and penumbral. The recommended locations to view the partial lunar eclipse this time are West Asia, East Europe, most parts in Africa and Antarctica.
