Editor's note: The 2019 China Internet Conference kicked off in Beijing on Tuesday. Representatives from government departments, internet industries, as well as experts and scholars at home and abroad gathered in the three-day event with 29 subforums to discuss hot topics such as 5G, IPv6, artificial intelligence and financial technology.

Huawei encountered some minor difficulties in May this year during its development over 30 years. We would like to express our gratitude for all the concern, encouragement and support from the whole industry.

For overseas markets, Huawei works to build an "ecological base". We believe the mobile phone has been at the center of the user experience for a quite long period of time, and around the mobile phone are TV, smart audio, glasses, wearable equipment and cars, followed by the whole ecosystem. Huawei provides a platform in the middle to connect the large number of consumers and developers in the ecosystem.

China only accounts for one-fifth of the world's population, and another four-fifths of the market needs domestic companies to develop. If we don't explore this market, our ecosystem is not a complete or self-reliant one. We hope everyone can join Huawei to acquire customers around the world and build a self-reliant ecosystem.

People do not have enough trust in real estate agents or companies. On the one hand, agents lack professional dignity and are not respected. On the other hand, the user experience is quite poor -- everyone wonders if the agents could lie.

We strive to enhance trust through improvements in science and technology. We have done a lot through artificial intelligence and other technology to solve the problem of "variance" among people in work -- different service quality among different agents, so every agent can achieve at the same level and provide better service.

By combining 5G and virtual reality, TV audiences can be not only scriptwriters, but also directors and even actors. They can personally participate in the story, change the direction of the story, and interact according to the storyline. This will become a new form of entertainment between video and games.

In the future, because of VR technology, we can create countless parallel universes, and each of us will have a parallel world -- like the movie Ready Player One describes, but even beyond that. You can be a master of another parallel world and have another identity and social relations.

Wu Hequan, president of the Internet Society of China and member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering

The 5G technology will enter to the stage of large commercial use in 2020, and the share of the internet of vehicles will also be improved. In the future, 5G can support autonomous driving, and the future use of 5G will boost the development of auto electronics, networking and relevant services. It will create an output value of about $1.5 trillion per year, which is larger than the volume of the current automotive industry.

What will 5G bring about in the future? The new format of mobile communication cannot be preplanned by people, but by the network capability in the future. The debut of 5G will bring new applications that we still cannot imagine at present.
